Carol has always had a passion for jazz. A highlight of her Swingle days was a week’s residency at Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club, working with Bobby McFerrin in Toronto on a version of the Bach Magnificat, projects with renown jazz musicians Bengt Hallberg and Arne Domnerus and singing in a televised performance from St Paul’s Cathedral of one of Duke Ellington’s Sacred Concerts narrated by Douglas Fairbanks Jnr with Tony Bennett and Rod Steiger. She also does session work and is on soundtracks for the latest Star Wars Movie and the third film of the Lord of the Rings including follow up concerts at the Royal Festival Hall and the Royal Albert Hall. She sang with the Stephen Hill Singers on many occasions for BBC Radio 2 Friday Night is Music Night including a series of musicals – Jesus Christ Super Star, My Fair Lady, Guys and Dolls to name a few. Carol has sung backing on albums by Paul Weller and Bjork as well as various TV appearances with Swingle Singers including Parkinson (Australia), The Des O’Connor Show and Pebble Mill both with Swingle Singers and Five Live.
