Carol has always had a passion for jazz. A highlight of her Swingle days was a
week’s residency at Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club, working with Bobby McFerrin in
Toronto on a version of the Bach Magnificat, projects with renown jazz musicians
Bengt Hallberg and Arne Domnerus and singing in a televised performance from St
Paul’s Cathedral of one of Duke Ellington’s Sacred Concerts narrated by Douglas
Fairbanks Jnr with Tony Bennett and Rod Steiger. She also does session work and
is on soundtracks for the latest Star Wars Movie and the third film of the Lord
of the Rings including follow up concerts at the Royal Festival Hall and the
Royal Albert Hall. She sang with the Stephen Hill Singers on many occasions for
BBC Radio 2 Friday Night is Music Night including a series of musicals – Jesus
Christ Super Star, My Fair Lady, Guys and Dolls to name a few. Carol has sung
backing on albums by Paul Weller and Bjork as well as various TV appearances
with Swingle Singers including Parkinson (Australia), The Des O’Connor Show and Pebble
Mill both with Swingle Singers and Five Live. Carol still enjoys close harmony
singing and is a member of the vocal group Five Live. Recordings as a member of Five Live: "Five Live" "Five Live - Take Two"
