Carol has sung the title role in Ravel’s "L’Enfant et les Sortilèges" in Melbourne, Brussels, Ottawa, in Chicago with David Zinman and a tour of the Netherlands with the Netherlands Dance Theatre. She has taken part in concerts in the UK with the Schutz choir under Roger Norrington and the UK and Europe as a member of London Voices singing for the Royal Ballet and in various projects under the direction of Riccardo Muti, Kent Nagano, Georg Solti, James Levine, Giuseppe Sinopoli, Pierre Boulez, John Pritchard, Charles Mackerras, Esa-Pekka Salonen and Bernard Haitink.

  As a member of the Swingle Singers Carol took part in many performances of Berio’s Sinfonia, very often with the composer himself conducting. She is part of the 1986 release of the work with the Orchestre National de France conducted by Pierre Boulez and has performed the work at the Lincoln Centre with the New York Philharmonic under the direction of Zubin Mehta. She is also singing on the latest recording (2005) of the work with London Voices and the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra conducted by Peter Eötvös. In 1986 Carol sang in the world première of Azio Corghi’s Mazapegul in Reggio Emilia and the subsequent first recording of it in London. She has also sung one of the small solo voices in performances of Schönberg’s Moses and Aaron with John Pritchard in London and Kent Nagano in Lyon.

She took part in the world première of Berio’s "La vera storia" at La Scala Milan, and also performances of his other opera "L’Opera" at the Rome Opera House. She has also sung in a performance of the Berio Folk Songs, again with the composer conducting.

Carol has worked with the vocal group Synergy giving performances around Europe of Steve Reich’s "Music For Eighteen Musicians". She is part of the 1997 recording of the piece with Ensemble Modern. She has also taken part in many concerts and recordings of contemporary music in the UK and Europe as a member of London Voices including the UK première of John Adams’ "Nixon in China" conducted by Kent Nagano (concert version), Ligeti’s "La Grand Macabre" conducted by Esa- Pekka Salonen and the latest CD of Ligeti’s "Requiem" recorded in Berlin.  Carol recently took part in the world première of "Ecce Cor Meum" by Paul McCartney.
